    • The types of animals we bring depend on the package you choose! Each package lists exactly which animals are included, so we kindly ask you to review our packages for all the details. If you have any special requests, feel free to let us know!

  • How far do you travel for events?

    • We’re happy to travel to your event! We charge $1.50 per mile (round trip) from our location to yours. We’re open to traveling just about anywhere, as long as the trip doesn’t compromise the health and safety of our animals. If you have a specific location in mind, let us know, and we’d be happy to discuss the details!

  • Do you offer overnight stays for multi-day events or festivals?

    • At this time, we do not offer overnight stays for our animals. For multi-day events or festivals, the animals will need to return home each evening and come back the next day. This ensures we can properly care for them and guarantee their safety, which is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to work with you to coordinate schedules for multi-day events!

  • Are your animals safe to be around children?

    • Yes, all of our animals are safe to be around children and are used to being handled at events. However, we do ask that children are supervised at all times to ensure they are treating the animals with kindness and respect. This helps keep both the animals and your little ones safe and happy!

    • We accept most major credit cards (with a processing fee) as well as personal checks, cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Let us know if you have a preferred payment method, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

  • How much does it cost to book the traveling petting zoo?

    • The cost to book our traveling petting zoo depends on the package you choose, with prices ranging from $300 to $600. Each package offers different animals and event options to suit your needs. Please feel free to review our packages on our website, and if you have any questions or special requests, we’d be happy to help!

  • Is there a fee for going over the hours that I’ve booked?

    • Yes, there is a fee for any additional hours beyond your booked time. The fee ranges from $125 to $175 per extra hour, depending on the package you selected. If you anticipate needing extra time, feel free to let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs!

  • Do you require a deposit to secure a booking?

    • Yes, a non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your booking at the time of reservation. If the deposit is not paid at the time of booking, we cannot guarantee your requested date and time. This deposit may be applied toward your final invoice, provided there are no damages caused during the event. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to working with you!

  • What could cause my deposit to be disqualified from being applied to my final invoice?

    • Your deposit may be disqualified from being applied to your final invoice if any damage occurs during the event. This includes damage to the animals, the truck and trailer, any of our staff members, or any equipment we bring for the petting zoo. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Event Day Details

  • How much space do you need for the petting zoo setup?

    • For the petting zoo setup, we’ll need a minimum 30 feet by 40 feet grassy area, preferably shaded, to ensure the animals have plenty of space. Additionally, we’ll require a nearby 70-foot parking space for the truck and trailer. We appreciate your help in making sure we have enough room to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!

  • How long do you stay at each event?

    • The duration of our stay at each event depends on the package you’ve chosen. Each package includes a set amount of time, and we’re happy to discuss options if you need additional hours. Feel free to reach out with any questions about specific package details!

  • Can you set up indoors or only outdoors?

    • Our petting zoo is designed to be set up outdoors, as the animals need plenty of space and fresh air. We recommend a grassy, shaded area for their comfort. Under unforeseen circumstances, we can set up indoors due to the nature of the animals and their care requirements, if the events site can accommodate such.

  • What happens if it rains on the day of my event?

    • A little rain never hurts anyone, and we’re happy to continue the event in light rain. However, if severe weather occurs, we may need to reschedule. If rescheduling isn’t possible, there may be a chance for a refund of the $100 deposit, though this is not guaranteed. We’ll work with you to make the best decision for the safety of the animals and guests!

  • Will there be any staff during my booked event?

    • Yes, staff members will be present at all times during your event to ensure the safety and well-being of both the animals and your guests. We’re here to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great time!

Animal Interactions

  • Can guests feed the animals?

    • Yes, guests can feed the animals as long as they are respectful and gentle with them. We do ask that everyone follows the guidelines for feeding to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals. Please note that there may be some animals we do not allow to be fed, depending on their specific needs and care requirements.

  • Are guests allowed to hold or pet the animals?

    • Yes, guests are welcome to pet and hold the animals, as long as they are gentle and respectful. However, there may be some animals that we do not allow to be held, depending on their comfort and safety. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in ensuring the well-being of the animals!

  • Do you provide hand-washing stations?

    • For the safety and well-being of the animals, we kindly ask that guests wash their hands both before and after interacting with them. A hand-washing station will always be provided, including access to hand sanitizers. Please feel free to reach out if you have any specific needs or questions regarding hand-washing options at your event!

  • Are there any age restrictions for interacting with the animals?

    • There are no specific age restrictions for interacting with the animals, but we do ask that children are supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. The safety of both the animals and the children is our top priority, so the responsible adult must ensure appropriate behavior and care while interacting with the animals.

  • Do you ever change the animals you bring, or is it always the same ones?

    • The animals we bring may vary depending on what we have available at the time of the event. As nature sadly takes its course, some animals may pass away. We’re always on the lookout for new animals to add to our petting zoo. We strive to provide a fun and educational experience with a variety of animals, but please understand that the lineup may change based on availability.

  • What happens if an animal gets stressed or overwhelmed at an event?

    • If an animal becomes stressed or overwhelmed at an event, we will remove them from the situation and provide a quiet space to calm down. The safety and comfort of our animals are our top priority, and we are always prepared to step in and make adjustments if needed.     • Yes! We do our best to accommodate special requests. If there’s a special animal you’d like to include-or one you’d prefer to leave out-just let us know when booking. While availability may vary, we’ll do our best to customize the experience to fit your needs!

  • Do you offer themed setups (Birthday Parties)?

    • Yes! We offer themed setups to make your event extra special. Our most popular option is our ‘unicorn’ experience, where one of our ponies is dressed up as a magical unicorn. We can also provide different colored decorations to match your theme. Let us know what you have in mind, and we’ll do our best to bring your vision to life!

  • Can we extend the time if the guests want more interaction?

    • Yes, you can extend the time if your guests would like more interaction with the animals. However, please note that additional hours will incur an extra fee, depending on the package you’ve booked. Just let us know, and we’ll be happy to accommodate!

  • Do you offer any add-ons like pony rides?

    • Yes! We offer pony rides as an add-on for an additional fee. Please not there is a weight limit for the safety of both the riders and the ponies. Contact us for details!

Cancellation & Policies

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    • We request a 48-hour notice for cancellations. However, we understand that unexpected situations may arise. We appreciate your understanding and will work with you to reschedule or find a solution if needed.

  • Do you offer refunds if we (the client) need to cancel?

    • Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for cancellations.

  • What happens if you (Petting Zoo to You) have to cancel due to weather or an emergency?

    • If Petting Zoo to You needs to cancel due to weather conditions or an emergency, we will issue a refund up to the $100 deposit. We always strive to provide a great experience, and we’ll work with you to find a solution or reschedule if necessary.

  • Do you have any rules or guidelines for guests during the event?

    • Yes, we ask that all guests behave respectfully and responsibly during the event. Treat the animals with kindness and follow any instructions from staff to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a positive environment for both the animals and your guests!

  • Is there a limit to the number of guests who can interact with the animals at one time?

    • While there isn't a specific limit to the number of guests who can interact with the animals at one time, we do monitor the situation closely to ensure the animals don’t become stressed or overwhelmed. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for both the animals and your guests, so we may adjust the number of people interacting at once as needed
